What is a Guaranteed Used Car?

The Guaranteed Used Car Program:

Twin City Subaru and 802 Toyota have taken all the guesswork, uncertainty, and worry from buying a used vehicle. When you purchase a 'Guaranteed Used Car' for the next 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) your vehicle is guaranteed like no other used vehicle you can buy...anywhere!

What is covered on a 'Guaranteed Used Car'?

• All required maintenance.
• All mechanical repairs.
• All original equipment.

Maintenance:  All manufacturers required maintenance will be performed at no cost to the consumer at the appropriate mileage for 12 months or 12,000 miles from date of purchase.  This includes (but is not limited to) oil and filter changes,  spark plug replacement, 30,000, 60,000, or other major services, and all required maintenance per the Owner's manual.  We will also include a complimentary Vermont State Inspection if required.  All work must be performed at the dealership purchased from (Twin City Subaru or 802 Toyota)!

Mechanical Repairs:  All required repairs, from brake services to engine replacement are covered at no charge to the consumer for 12 months or 12,000 miles from date of purchase.   Required maintenance must be performed at appropriate intervals/mileage for coverage to remain in effect.  All work must be performed at the dealership purchased from (Twin City Subaru or 802 Toyota)!

Equipment Coverage: All OEM (Original Equipment from Manufacturer) including wear items on vehicle are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles from date of purchase.  This includes brakes, windshield wiper blades, and even tires!  Aftermarket products such as racks, alarms, trailer hitches, etc. are not covered.  All work must be performed at the dealership purchased from (Twin City Subaru or 802 Toyota)!

What is NOT covered? on a 'Guaranteed Used Car'?

Physical damage, acts of God, or cosmetic damage.  This includes damage to rims and tires from potholes, curbs or other impacts; broken windshields, vandalism, scratches, dents or rust.

Customer requirements:

Customer must maintain the vehicle per required manufacturer specifications.  Dealer will provide all required maintenance at no charge.  All work must be performed at Twin City Subaru!  If customer chooses to perform maintenance elsewhere, specific records will be required for any type of coverage with no exceptions!   Specifically customer must perform engine oil and filter change at a minimum of 5,000 miles and tire rotations at a minimum of 7,500 miles or any coverage will be denied.  In order for tire and brake coverage vehicle must fail Vermont State inspection at or before end of 12 month or 12,000 mile period.  All work must be performed at the dealership purchased from (Twin City Subaru or 802 Toyota)!

In all cases Twin City Subaru and 802 Toyota reserves the right to perform repairs with used parts provided vehicle will pass Vermont State Inspection.
