To our valued 802 Toyota Customers,For those of you I have not met, my name is Dave Birmingham and I am the new owner (2008) of 802 Toyota. Like You, 802 Toyota is deeply concerned with the current recalls announced by Toyota affecting many of you. I hope like you, I have a long history with Toyota beginning in 1990, and I have the utmost faith and confidence that Toyota:
- Will continue to respond quickly to conduct the recalls, and
- Will do the right thing for all of our customers, as well as for all their dealers.
I feel very positive that the outcome will cause us all to say "That's why I bought a Toyota!"
We have a "Whatever it Takes" attitude at 802 Toyota. That means we want you to feel good about your Toyota and know that whatever we need to do here at the dealership to keep you as satisfied customers we will do. As parts arrive there will be notifications sent to you from Toyota to come in and have the work performed. Know that we have extended our service hours to accommodate as many repairs as possible in as short a time as possible. We are now open until 6PM each evening and until 2PM on Saturday. We have also hired additional support staff and expanded our customer waiting areas. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do!
Toyota is staging the notices so everyone does not get notified at once and we ask for your continued patience. In the meantime, please feel free to call myself or any of the staff here at 802 Toyota. If we have an email address for you we will keep you up to date as we get more information. Our website will be kept as current as possible. To keep as informed as we are, please send your email address to:
phil_daley@vtcars.com.
802 Toyota would also like to thank you all. The overwhelming majority of our customers have been patient, understanding and quick to defend both our dealership and Toyota. Your support has truly been humbling and amazing. Thank You.
In the end you will confirm that you made an excellent choice when you purchased a Toyota.
Sincerely,
