
Warning & Indicator Lights

Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer immediately.
Indicates a malfunction in:
- ABS or
- The Brake Assist system

Warning Light
Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and contact the 802 Toyota Service Department ASAP.
Indicates a malfunction in:
- the vehicle's charging system.

Indicates that cruise control system has been activated. Use cruise control to maintain a set speed without depressing the accelerator pedal.

Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and contact theĀ 802 Toyota Service Department ASAP.
Indicates a malfunction in:
- Ā the EPS system

Indicates that the headlight high beams have been switched on.

- Ā engine oil pressure is too low.

Indicates low fuel level. (Amount remaining depends on vehicle; consult your Owner's Manual for more details.)


Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and contact theĀ 802 Toyota Service Department ASAP.
Indicates a malfunction in:
- The SRS air bag system;
- The front passenger occupant classification system; or
- The seat belt pretensioner system

Fasten the seat belt.
If the front passenger's seat is occupied, the front passenger's seat belt also needs to be fastened to make the warning light (warning buzzer) turn off.

Depending on the vehicle, a buzzer (intermittent) may sound to indicate that VSC is operating.

To disable TRAC and/or VSC:
If the vehicle gets stuck in fresh snow or mud, TRAC and VSC may reduce power from the engine to the wheels. You may need to turn the system off to enable you to rock the vehicle in order to free it. To turn off TRAC, press the VSC OFF switch briefly. The AUTO LSD indicator will come on. The system is in TRAC OFF, AUTO LSD ON and VSC, Trailer-Sway Control ON mode. Pressing and holding the VSC OFF switch for three seconds while at a complete stop will illuminate the TRAC OFF and AUTO LSD indicators. The system is now in TRAC OFF, AUTO LSD ON and VSC, Trailer-Sway Control OFF mode.z

- Natural causes
- Flat tire
- Malfunction in the tire pressure warning system.


Push and hold the switch while the vehicle is stopped to turn off TRAC and VSC.
